Ireland's Foreign Minister, Michael Martin, revealed that his country, in conjunction with Spain and Slovenia, is working to recognize the state of Palestine, adding: "There are many countries with a similar mentality in the European Union who are working with us on the issue of recognizing Palestine," stressing his country's full support for voting to recognize the state of Palestine and coordination with the European side in this regard.
The Irish Foreign Minister added during a joint press conference with Sameh Shoukry in Cairo, “We are waiting for these decisions and negotiations."
