Two Iranian missiles landed 100 miles from the US aircraft carrier "Nimitz" in the Indian Ocean, Fox News reported.

The network indicated that the Iranian missiles fell "seriously" near a merchant ship in the Indian Ocean, and about 100 miles from the "Nimitz" attack aircraft carrier.

US Navy officials told the network, "The US aircraft carrier group" Nimitz "was close to the place where at least two Iranian ballistic missiles exploded, causing shrapnel to fly in all directions.

"We were expecting missiles but, there was concern about how close Iran was to its preparedness for this," a network official said.
