President Abdel Fattah El Sisi toured Tuesday Gharb Sohail village in Aswan in order to follow up on the implementation of the development of services within the presidential initiative (A Decent Life) for the development of the Egyptian countryside.
This comes during President Sisi's visit to Aswan Governorate, where he passed through the village of Gharb Sohail to inspect the tourist market and encourage its youth to move forward in promoting tourism.
The President commended the generosity and hospitality of the Nuba people and showed that the state, with all its organs, is keen to fully access the basic services of the Aswan Center.
He also noted that work is currently underway in 52 centers in 20 governorates within the presidential initiative A Decent Life, in addition to the Aswan Center.
The President visited the commercial market in the village of West Sohail, where he met a group of owners of tourist and commercial shops and stores of handicrafts and heritage crafts.
Moreover, Sisi was also keen to hold an open meeting with a group of residents of the village of Gharb Sohail to check on the conditions of the village.
He had a lunch with them, which included basic Nubian dishes such as honey and unleavened bread, which the villagers were keen to present to the president. He also commended the warm reception of the people of the village.
At the end of the visit, Sisi invited a girl called Jana, who received him at Kiki Island marina with another child called Sajid, and who sat next to him to attend the fourth edition of the World Youth Forum, which will be held next January in Sharm El-Sheikh.
