On Friday, Nabila Makram, Minister of Immigration, and Yasser Shaban, Egyptian ambassador to Bahrain inaugurated the activities of the 4th camp of the "Speak Arabic" initiative for Egyptian children residing in Bahrain via the "Zoom" app.

This came in cooperation with Wellspring company specialized in setting up and organizing camps. The camp’s activities dealt with a number of Egyptian traditional songs, games, competitions, and various activities aimed at introducing children to their homeland, Egypt, and its heritage.

During the camp, Makram welcomed the participants and thanked the team of the Wellspring Foundation for the efforts made in organizing the camps. She pointed out that organizing these camps for the children of Egyptians in the Arab countries aims mainly to introduce them to the original Egyptian customs and traditions.  She asked the children about the Egyptian food they love and the Egyptian collectibles they keep in their homes.

The Minister recommended the children to be careful and follow all precautionary measures in light of the spread of the second wave of the global Coronavirus pandemic.
