iKON’s Bobby Announces Marriage, Wife-to-Be Pregnancy

K-pop boy band iKon's main rapper Bobby shocked fans on Friday, announcing his marriage and expecting the first child.

Bobby, named Kim Ji-won, took to Instagram, posting a letter to reveal the surprise and apologize to his fans who are hurt or confused by my news

"Hello, this is iKON’s Bobby. There is something I really want to tell you today, so I am writing this after putting in much thought," the letter read. "I have promised marriage with a person I love. I am also becoming a father in September."

The rapper said he feels more apologetic to the fans who must have been taken aback by my news, affirming that he was worried more than anything for this reason.

"I feel heavy responsibility as I think I have caused a great emotional burden to the people who always help and support me who is lacking a lot in many ways," he noted.

In the same page, he asserted that he will become a person who does not cause shame to his parents along with the iKON members.

Moreover, he did not forget to mention his fans who have made his "lacking self into someone who is needed in this world."

"More than anything, I will work even harder to not cause harm to the members and the fans who are waiting for iKON’s activities," the K-pop star concluded.
