IDSC: Egypt's Peaceful Nuclear Project to Open New Vistas

The Information and Decision Support Center of the Cabinet (IDSC) has announced that by 2035, new and renewable energy sources are expected to account for 42% of the total energy consumption in Egypt.

The report also emphasizes the significance of nuclear energy in the country's future energy mix, given the abundance of nuclear resources.

The center published a new edition of information reports titled "Nuclear Energy Return of Interest in Clean Energy Mix", which explains the importance of the Dabaa nuclear plant in localizing nuclear technology in Egypt.

The report also highlights the peaceful nuclear project in Egypt and its stages, and underscores the importance of supporting the national project of producing green hydrogen.
