Israeli media outlets unveiled on Monday, that the Israeli Defense Forces ( IDF) seeks to handle the crisis of the Coronavirus in the Hebrew State.

The higher commandment of the Israeli army has asked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to authorize the military establishment to confront the crisis of the deadly virus since Israel faces a national disaster.

English and Hebrew-spoken newspaper pointed out that Maj. Gen, Aviv Kochavi, Chief of the General Staff sent a secret missive to the Premier and the Minister of Defense Naftali Bennett days earlier.

Kochavi asked the PM and the minister to assume the responsibility of handling the crisis of the Coronavirus.

The newspaper assured that missive was passed to a narrow circle of senior officials in Israel.

Kochavi wanted to avoid intervening the disputes between Netanyahu and Benet.

He did not also appear as infringing on the Ministry of Health in handling the complicated dilemma of the Coronavirus.

Chief in-Staff of the Israeli army cited 8 topics and asked to transfer the responsibility of them to the military.

Among those topics is conducting tests to spot the deadly virus. Kochavi considers that the military medics are more experienced in managing such crises.

He thought that the army should acquire all information accumulated about the Coronavirus and benefit from this information.

He concluded his missive by assuring the army is very ready to handle the crisis of Coronavirus immediately.

On the other hand, Naftali Bennett, Minister of Defense in Israel, had said that handling the crisis of the Coronavirus is similar to war. So his ministry must assume the responsibility for it.

According to law in Israel, the commandment of the IDF assumes the responsibly of handling the crises when the government declares the state of emergency.

Mandate of the military ends when the government decides to lift the emergency state in Israel.
