On the sidelines of the 11th edition of the Abu Dhabi Strategic Forum (ADSD) in the UAE, the Cabinet Information Center (IDSC) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Emirates Policy Center (EPC) to strengthen collaboration in research and academic domains.

According to a statement recently issued by IDSC, the MoU aimed at enhancing scientific, research, and academic collaboration on topics of mutual interest.

In his address, Acting Head of IDSC Osama El Gohary expressed his satisfaction with the MoU that strengthens collaborative efforts with the Emirates Policy Center, a leading think tank in the UAE. He highlighted the center's commitment to exchanging expertise and experiences with various research institutions to develop shared visions that address pressing challenges and priority issues.

"We are committed to sharing expertise and experiences with various research institutions, both domestically and internationally, to develop unified perspectives that address diverse challenges and issues," El Gohary said.

He further noted that the MoU facilitates collaborative research and the exchange of visits between experts and researchers from both countries.

In turn, the Head of the EPC said that the signing of this memorandum aligns with the center's strategy to broaden its partnerships and engage with leading institutions and esteemed global think tanks.

EPC hosts its 11th annual ADSD on November 11-12, 2024, under the theme “The Illusion of Stability: A World in Flux.” This event focuses on evolving global strategic trends amid significant changes in world security, emerging alliances, increasing militarization, and the shifting roles of major powers. Special attention will be given to the ongoing instability in the Middle East, especially regarding the persistent regional tensions and conflicts.
