The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) organized a two day International Yoga Conference from June 27th to 28th at Senate Chambers, University of Kwazulu-Natal (UKZN), Durban, South Africa. The conference highlighted the significance of Yoga as it is more than just physical exercise; it is a holistic approach to well-being that harmonizes the body, mind, and soul. It teaches us patience, discipline, and the art of living in the present moment and provides a pathway for collective healing and harmony.
Egyptian Yoga instructor, Ms. MennaallahHesham Amin Aly, attended the conference and shared views on the status of Yoga in Egypt. In the last few years, Yoga has gained popularity in Egypt and now, hundreds of Yoga centers are working in different parts of Egypt providing Yoga training.
