The UN's International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said on Thursday the director, Rafael Grossi, will travel to Iran for "high-level meetings" as diplomats say he wants to get Tehran to cooperate in an investigation into traces of uranium found at undisclosed sites.
The agency said on Twitter that Grossi "will travel to Tehran for high-level meetings,he will hold a press conference upon his return to Vienna late Saturday evening."
The IAEA is also seeking explanations from Iran on how it produced a tiny amount of uranium enriched to 83.7 percent from those cascades at Fordow, the second site at which Iran is enriching to up to 60 percent.
