Plants and flowers need special care in the summer, as they need more water and less fertilization because the fertilizer increases the soil temperature, which is naturally high in the summer due to the high temperature.

Even shade plants inside the house must be given plenty of water unless they are in an air-conditioned room.

As for the flowering sun plants, especially the jasmine, they need fertilization to help them bloom throughout the summer.

Here's how you can keep your plants healthy:

Tip 1:

The soil should contain 50% sand, 25% ordinary soil, and 25% decomposed organic fertilizer.

Tip 2:

Keep the plant away from direct sunlight and from a fully shaded area. It is best to place the plant in the morning hours for four hours to benefit from the natural sunlight.

Tip 3:

Jasmine needs iron, thus, should be fertilized with a balanced fertilizer every 15 days. The fertilizer is once a month during the winter.

Tip 4:

Plucking flowers to enjoy their aroma indoors as well as not leaving them on the plant until it renews and produces more flowers.
