How to Encourage Innovation and Investment in Green Technology?

Green industrialization policies can create new economic fields in the field of innovation and technology that focus on solving environmental problems.

Through creating partnerships between various parties, we can spread environmentally friendly technologies by providing appropriate and stimulating technical and financial support programs in this regard.

China is one of the countries that has been very successful in investing in green technology. Perhaps the most important example of this is the victories achieved in the global markets in the technology of photovoltaic panels generating solar energy. especially in China.

China's policy was based on three measures: Purchasing production requirements and machines used in manufacturing this technology at competitive prices and customs advantages, training and qualifying human cadres in Europe, and attracting foreign investments in partnership with local investments.

Thus, China was able to be the largest producer in the solar photovoltaic industry. Perhaps one of the important areas that can be developed in Egypt is the manufacture of solar heaters used in industry.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with UNIDO, has prepared a national road map for the value chain for the local manufacture of solar heaters. The study included a detailed analysis of the solar heaters market and the technology used in it.

The opportunities, obstacles and political options for supporting the local manufacture of solar heaters in Egypt were also studied.

The study showed that Egypt has great opportunities in this industry, which can provide more job opportunities, in addition to its positive and positive impact.

However, this requires technical and financial support and raising awareness of the importance of using the technology of solar heating systems, whether in the industrial sector or the residential and residential sectors.
