The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot and humid weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Wednesday.
It is also foreseen that the moderately hot and humid conditions will prevail in the North coasts while South Sinai and the South of the country will see extremely hot weather.
Furthermore, the country will witness light mist on the roads leading to Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North coasts.
Winds will occasionally occur in Cairo, South Sinai, and the south of the country.
There will also be disruption of maritime navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez with a wind speed of 50 to 70 km per hour, and wave height of 3 to 4 meters.
Moderate and humid weather is predicted to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 35°C in Cairo, 32°C in Alexandria, 31°C in Marsa Matruh, 39°C in Sohag, 43°C in Qena, and 44°C in Aswan.
