The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Wednesday.
Moreover, moderate weather is foreseen to prevail in the Northern coasts, while South Sinai and the south of the country will see extremely hot conditions.
It is also predicted that the country will witness a slight decline in the temperature.
Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, said that winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern Coasts, South Sinai, and the south of the country.
It is also foreseen that there will be disruption of maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea with a wind speed of 60: 70 km per hour, and wave height of 3: 4.5 meters.
Meanwhile, the Red Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, which will range between 2 and 2.5 meters in height, with western surface winds.
Pleasant weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern coasts, and North Upper Egypt, at night.
It is also foreseen that moderate conditions will prevail in Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 33C in Cairo, 27C in Alexandria, 25C in Marsa Matruh, 37C in Sohag, 40C in Qena, and 44C in Aswan.
