The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot and humid weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Coast, during daylight hours on Saturday.
Extremely hot weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and the South of the country.
Wind will be active across the country. In addition, the strong mist will prevail on all highways from and to Cairo, especially those nearby agricultural areas, and water bodies.
Egypt will see an increase in the rates of humidity which will make people feel that the temperatures are higher than recorded by 2:3 degrees.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters with northwest surface winds.
Meanwhile, moderate weather is predicted to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 34°C in Cairo, 29°C in Alexandria, 28°C in Marsa Matruh, 38°C in Sohag, 39°C in Qena, and 41°C in Aswan.
