Hosny to Appear on TV Series “The Choice”

Egyptian actor, Ahmed Salah Hosny will make a guest appearance in actor, Amir Karara’s TV series “El Ekhteyar- Ahmed el-Mansy” (The Choice- Ahmed el-Mansy), which is currently premiering in Ramadan.

He announced on Instagram his participation in the series during which he will play one of the combatants in Sinai.

Hosny is the latest artist to be added to the list of the many celebrities that appeared on the series which included Mohamed Emam, Maged El Masry, Eyad Nassar, Asser Yassin, Mohamed Ragab, and Karim Mahomud Abdel Aziz.

The TV series is written by Baher Dowidar, directed by Peter Mimi, and produced by Synergy Production Company.

Karara plays the role of martyr Colonel Ahmed el-Mansy in the series, while actor Ahmed Elawady‎ plays terrorist Hisham Ashmawy.

El-Mansy was the commander of Sa’ka Forces (Thunderbolt Forces) battalion 103, who was martyred with several other members of his battalion on July 7th, 2017.

They were killed during clashes between Egyptian army forces and militants in a terror attack launched on an Egyptian armed forces checkpoint in Rafah, North Sinai.

The series will be the first time to present the life of the commander in artistic work.

The actor’s latest artistic work TV series “kalabsh 3”, and Eid Al-Fitr movie “Casablanca”.

Casablanca co-starring Amir Karara, Eyad Nassar, Ghada Adel, Amr Abdel Gelil, Dalal Abdel Aziz, Mahmoud El Bezzawy, Ahmad Dash, International Turkish actor Halit Ergenç, and others.

The movie is an action-thriller genre, which was filmed in Egypt, France, and several other countries. It is written by Hesham Helal and directed by Peter Mimi.

It is worth mentioning that Karara, born on October 10, 1977, is an Egyptian actor and broadcaster. He has a degree in tourism from Cairo University.

He rose to fame through hosting television contest shows like “Star Maker” and “The Deal”.

Moreover, he played in the national volleyball team, in a lot of national and international games.

Karara is known for his roles in TV series “Shabab Al Hawa” (Guys online), and “Lahazat Hariga” (The Egyptian version of ER), “Taraf Talit” (Third Party) “Taht El Ard” (Underground), and “kalabsh” trilogy.
