On Thursday, Egyptian actress, Horeya Farghaly was scheduled to undergo surgery in a hospital in Chicago, in the United States.
The actress's treating doctor postponed the surgery, minutes before going through it, after discovering in a medical report that her body had a low level of hemoglobin in the blood.
Farghaly's hemoglobin level had risen after she suffered a bruise on her head 24 hours before the operation. As a result, the doctor to postpone due to the gravity of the situation.
A new date for the first surgery has yet to be determined.
Last Sunday, Farghaly traveled to the U.S at dawn with her mother and brother. The doctor told Farghali and her family upon her arrival in the United States, that she would undergo three surgeries.
The first surgery would be the deduction of bones from her chest, the second surgery would be building bones in the area of the nose, and the third and final will be 20 days after the second surgery, which will be rehabilitating Farghaly by directly placing the bones in the correct place so that it would return to normal shape.
