A high-level delegation from South Sudan, led by Tut Gatluak, the President's Envoy to the Middle East, visited Cairo yesterday for a three-day official visit.
The delegation included the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Water Resources, the Director of General Intelligence, and the Secretary of Policies for the ruling Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) party.
The visit focused on enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries, discussing Egypt's development projects in South Sudan, and coordinating and consulting on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
