On Thursday, Netflix announced the beginning of production for its new Arabic original series, which is being filmed under the working title of “Finding Ola”, starring Hend Sabry.
The cast includes Sawsan Badr, Hany Adel, Nada Mousa, Mahmoud El Leithy, and Dalia Shawky. The series will also feature special appearances from renowned actors such as iconic actor Khaled El Nabawy, and others.
The production marks the sixth collaboration between Sabry and Adel. They collaborated for the first time when Adel made a guest appearance in Sabry’s popular TV series “Ayza Atgawez” (I Want to Get Married).
The pair also collaborated in 2018’s movie “El kenz” and its 2019 sequel, 2017’s TV series “Halawet El Donia”, and 2011’s movie “Asmaa”.

“Finding Ola'' is influenced by the main characters of the 2010 popular TV series “Ayza Atgawez” (I Want to Get Married), which was written by Ghada Abd El Aal. “Finding Ola” is written by Maha El Wazir and Ghada Abd El Aal.
The series portrays the beloved character “Ola Abd El Sabour'' and her adventures after her first appearance in “Ayza Atgawez”, ten years ago.
“Finding Ola'' features the story of the mother and pharmacist “Ola Abd El Sabour'' who is trying to cope with the fast-paced world while working hard to rediscover or rather reinvent herself and whose life is torn between her responsibilities and her attempts to bring back love in her life.
The series is directed by Hadi El Bagoury, with Sabry also serving as executive producer for the first time through her company SALAM PROD., in cooperation with Partner Pro & Executive Producer Amin El Masri.
The production of the series kicked off in late January 2021 in various locations in Cairo, ensuring health and safety measures for all staff members.
The series is scheduled to be screened on a digital streaming service next April.
