Tunisian actress-producer Hend Sabri announced Friday on Instagram that she had the coronavirus and is home-insolating, noting that a few days separate her from recovery.
Sabri addressed the criticisms and objections raised about her participation in the long-awaited Pharaohs’ Royal Parade, which will take place on April 3.
The actress stated that all she wrote was, 'I'm proud to participate in this great event', noting that she didn't say she was doing it all on her own.
Sabri added, 'Is it right for an event of this historical glory, which the whole world anticipates due to its extreme importance, will have one star participating? and if there is one star, is it really possible for her to not be Egyptian to the core,'.
She stated that many of Egypt's major stars will participate in this event and many of them made posts like she did, noting their participation is much greater than her.
Sabri expressed once again her pride with her participation, affirming that her part along with Egypt's major stars will be extremely small.
