Helwan Univ. Launches 5th Version of "MAKER HACHATHON CAIRO"

CAIRO, Jan 31. (SEE)- Dimensions Student Organization at faculty of engineering Helwan University is preparing to launch the fifth version of "MAKER HACHATHON CAIRO"; the first hardware in the Middle East tomorrow at Nile University.

"MAKER HACHATHON CAIRO" consists of 4 days' of workshops and a competition. People are building products to launch companies in 3 days, and will work on 3D printers, CNC, laser cutters, Arduino and other electronic tools to build a prototype for their hardware products. In the final day, all the startups will present their ideas to the judge and will be branded all over the Arab region powered By Zoomaal.

Dimensions Student Organization is the first student organization at faculty of engineering Helwan University; it was established in 2009, and it aims to develop the engineering community "students and graduates in the university and the great Cairo Universities as well. This will be through providing them with rich programs and tailored events focusing on development of the following Dimensions: Technical Skills Technology & Research, Business Skills, Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Interpersonal Skills & Social Responsibility.
