Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population has called on citizens to turn to online shopping and delivery services to prevent the spread of coronavirus, in conjunction with the start of implementation of coexistence plans with the virus.

The Ministry stressed the necessity of taking into account the protective procedures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infection so that the person who packages the product should wear a face mask and a glove before dealing with the (Order). In addition, the delivery worker should wear a mask and cleanse his hand before dealing with the customer and after receiving the cash.

On the other hand, a healthy family member with no symptoms should receive the product from the delivery worker.

In case that you are in house isolation and forced to receive the order from the delivery worker, you must do the following steps in the same order: washing hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least half a minute, wearing a protective mask, wearing a clean glove (after washing hands and wearing a mask) and maintaining the safe distance while giving him the cash.

It is worth mentioning that, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared coronavirus a global pandemic as the new virus has rapidly spread to more than 121,000 people from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

More cases of the virus, which causes respiratory disease COVID-19, continue to emerge, with outbreaks in South Korea, Italy, and Iran.

People across the globe partake in self-isolation for 14 days as an effective precautionary measure to protect those around them and themselves from contracting COVID-19.
