On Friday, the government warned Egypt's residents of receiving deceiving phone calls and contacts on social media asking them about inquiries related to their vaccination data.

In addition, the Ministry of Health denied all news of contacting people regarding their vaccination data, asserting that the ministry has a strong and detailed database about the Egyptians and the country's residents who received the vaccine, and all identities registered on the official vaccination platform.

In the same context, the ministry revealed that all persons who claimed their relation of the ministry will be illegally judged.

The media office of the cabinet urged media platforms and social media users to make sure of any piece of news before sharing it and spark any controversy on the internet.

It is worthy to mention that last year, several persons did a wide network of communications and detecting bank accounts' owners to ask them for their personal accounts data, therefore, the cabinet urged people to not share any personal data related to their bank accounts, visas, or debit cards.
