The Ministry of Health and Population announced that 15 million doses of the Sinovac vaccine will be produced locally per month as of next August, noting the Egypt seeks to manufacture 40 million doses of the vaccine by the end of this year.
The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed that this achievement comes in light of the political leadership’s directives to secure Egypt’s needs of the Coronavirus vaccine.
The ministry pointed out that 300,000 doses were produced out of a total of 2 million and 250 thousand doses scheduled to be produced in the first phase.
