Health Minister Hala Zayed said no more new coronavirus cases in Egypt, noting samples from 1,443 suspected cases were taken and they are all negative except one case, which became negative after 48 hours.
"Egypt has nothing to hide about the virus," Zayed affirmed.
Zayed's remarks came during her press conference with Chinese Ambassador in Cairo Liao Liqiang before heading for China, sending a solidarity message from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the Chinese leadership and people.
"My visit to China falls within a framework of the Egyptian political leadership's keenness to boost ties with the Chinese side and offer all kinds of support in these critical circumstances," the health minister stated.
