Egyptian archaeologist, Dr. Zahi Hawass, gave a lecture in New York on the recent archaeological discoveries.

Before the lecture, groups of black people held a protest saying "Egypt is a black civilization."

They demanded the withdrawal of the doctorate from "Hawass", which he obtained from the University of Pennsylvania, claiming that he had mistakes in history.

Dr. "Zahi Hawass" said that there is a wrong thinking among many in the Americas regarding the ancient Egyptian civilization, as the Kingdom of Kush ruled ancient Egypt for few years at the end of the Pharaonic era, so it was believed that this period made the Egyptian civilization, although it was at the end of the late era.

Hawass" pointed out that the kingdom of Kush built pyramids similar to hills that are not related to the Egyptian pyramids, and if we look at all the paintings on the temples, we will see the king striking the Asian, Libyan and African enemies, and therefore Kush has nothing to do with civilization, and Cleopatra's movie represents  falsification of history.

Hawass talked about the recent archaeological discoveries in Egypt, in Saqqara, Luxor and the Pyramid of Khufu.
