Handball: France Secure Narrow Victory over Switzerland to Lead Group E

France handball national team have beaten on Monday their Swiss counterpart by a score of 25-24, at the finale of the first round of the World Handball Championship that is held in Egypt and continues until January 31.

The two teams clash was held as part of the World Cup group E fixtures.

The first half saw the two teams drawn 14/14 after the French national team controlled the course of the match, but the opposing team managed to equalize the score.

The Blue team continued to lead group E standings after winning their 3 encounters in the tournament against Norway, Austria and Switzerland, respectively, while Switzerland came third after defeating Austria and then securing victory over Norway and finally the defeat in front of France.
