Handball Youth Egyptian national team knocked Norway out of the Men's Junior U21 World Championship and booked their place in the semi-finals with a 29- 27 victory on Thursday.
Norway ended the first half with a 14-12 victory over the Pharaohs. The Pharaohs secured the victory in the last ten minutes of the game after they were defeated 22-20 until the 49th minute.

The Pharaohs are currently participating in the Handball Junior World Championship taking place in Spain, after winning the 2018 African Men’s Junior tournament.

The African champions qualified for the last eight after beating Serbia 30-29 on Wednesday, while Norway advanced to this stage after pulling off a 29-28 over Brazil.
It is worth mentioning that Egypt pulled off five victories in their group stage clashes against Australia, Nigeria, Sweden, South Korea, and France.
Egypt became the first non-European team to achieve the full mark during the group stage in this tournament since 2009 when Brazil managed to do so.
Egypt's player Shehab Abdullah was selected as the best player in the game.
