Egyptian actress, Hala Shiha officially separated from her Canadian estranged husband Steve Mark Harrison, at the real estate registry, in Alexandria, on Sunday.
Shiha did not attend in person, nor did her ex-husband, and opted to send legal agents on their behalf to finalize the porce.
The actress had separated from her husband a long time ago and came to Egypt with her four children, however, there was no official separation during this period until the porce process took place on Sunday.
In 2018, Shiha had surprised everyone by taking off niqab, and coming out of her retirement and resume acting after 12 years of retirement, which was followed by taking off her veil.
The 41-year-old actress had retired from acting and wore the veil in 2003, but took it off a few months after. She decided to put it on again in 2005 during her marriage to singer-actor Hany Adel, who she split from a year later.
Shiha later remarried from her Canadian husband and moved to Canada. The actress announced in April 2019 that they had parted ways. The marriage resulted in four children, three girls, and a boy.
