A police officer was killed and several others were wounded when two suicide bombers attacked a police station in the city of Zahedan, capital of the Sistan-Baluchistan province in southeastern Iran, on Saturday.
An official agency quoted informed sources as saying that two of the attackers detonated explosive belts in the attack that took place in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchistan province.
This comes days after a security man was killed and two others were wounded in a clash with wanted persons in the city of Baft in Kerman province, southeastern Iran .
last April, the commander of the Internal Security Forces was killed in the border city of Saravan in Sistan and Baluchestan province, southeastern Iran, by gunfire.
