The General Union of Egyptians (GUE) in UK organized the largest gathering for the Egyptian community, on the 2nd day of Eid al-Adha.

Young Egyptian people and families gathered to visit one of UK's most beautiful beaches, which lies at a distance of approximately 150 kilometers from the British capital, London.

Everyone enjoyed the trip and the beach's beauty in a moderate and sometimes cold temperature, due to the nature of the cold geographical area there.

They celebrated Eid Al-Adha, in an Egyptian festive atmosphere, raising the Egyptian flag and listening to ancient Egyptian music and songs, playing some games and competitions, and enjoying the famous Egyptian dishes.

Mervat Khalil, head of the GUE in UK, said that this trip is considered one of the most important Egyptian gatherings in England, especially for our students, who are studying in British academies and institutes.

In addition, Khalil added that the Egyptian community is always keen to revive the spirit of love, and harmony among the Egyptian community's members, who are residing in all parts of UK.
