GUC Honors Youth Leaders in Luxor Governorate

Dr. Ashraf Mansour, the Trustees Board Chairman at the German University in Cairo (GUC), said that the university presented an ambitious educational program; it is based on the development of leadership skills in accordance with modern administrative trends. It follows the scientific method in writing reports and diagnosis and analysis of phenomena and administrative problems.

Dr. Mansour said, during the celebration of the German University honoring the 3rd and final group of trainees for senior and youth leaders in Luxor governorate in a cooperation protocol to train 90 leaders over three years, that a total of 270 leaders in the governorates of Luxor, Qena, Minya.

Counselor Mustafa Ilham, Luxor Governor, and a number of governorate leaders, attended the event.

Meanwhile, the program included a number of lectures, workshops and discussion seminars that meet the requirements and needs of the work.

Also, the courses included several axes, most notably modern management systems, techniques, and providing trainees with the skills necessary to improve performance efficiency and quality, problem solving, work behaviors, as part of the university's efforts to re-develop in addition to bring out qualified cadres and leaders.

Mansour pointed out that the success of the first course, which targeted 30 trainees, gave the university a boost to complete, and the success of the second cohort; hence, it implemented the 3rd and last training regimen.

The university has given what the province needs, to serve its objectives and preserve its cultural heritage.

The participants in the training course praised the lectures level, quality of the information material during the lectures, which dealt with several key themes, including the secrets of outstanding delegation, time management and self-management, creative problem-solving skills, and stress management, team skills, positive thinking, and developing innovation within the team.
