The Guardian, a British daily newspaper, expressed its belief that there is no end in sight to the war that erupted in Ukraine after Russia launched a special military operation inside Ukrainian territory late February.
The newspaper pointed out - in an editorial - that Ukraine is now facing not only Russian military attacks in which Russia uses excessive force but also the difficulties that impede European aid to it to confront Russian forces.
The newspaper added that despite the valor and daring shown by the Ukrainian resistance at the beginning of the war in the face of the Russian military machine, with the passage of time, and after nearly three and a half months, the situation on the ground began to deteriorate for the Ukrainian forces.
In its editorial, the newspaper explains that Ukraine loses nearly 100 soldiers on the battlefield every day and suffers hundreds of casualties, which has led it to rely on young recruits who lack the necessary war experience.
