The Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria is hosting the Italian Cultural Institute's second international conference on Hellenistic civilization and antiquities, as well as archaeological and tourism studies.
The conference, which runs from July 17 to 18, 2024, features a wide range of topics, including the role of artificial intelligence in improving hotel services, the development of archaeological sites in sustainable tourism, and the use of green practices in tourism and hotel industries.
The conference will address the challenges and advances in ancient DNA research, as well as new concepts in Egyptology at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).
