Government of UAE Warns of "Cyber" Attacks Targeting Digital Assets Across Country

The United Arab Emirates ( UAE) Government Cyber Security Council (GCSC) called on all governmental and private institutions in the country to take caution from any expected cyber attacks that could target the national digital infrastructure and assets.

And according to what was published by the Emirati newspaper, Al-Bayan, the GCSC called on government and private agencies to activate the cyber emergency system, cooperate and coordinate with the concerned authorities to share data proactively and confront malicious attacks.

The GCSC stressed the importance of addressing various types of cyber attacks against vital sectors.

In addition, the GCSC urges to activate protection systems and cyber security policies and raise the awareness of the authorities of any suspicious electronic activities that may harm their environments, in order to thwart any attempts aimed at harming state institutions and the interests of citizens in all fields.
