Google is testing a white and gray progress bar in dark mode in the new YouTube Android app.

The giant tech will roll out this new design to all users, while YouTube will soon stop using the red progress bar to lower nighttime eye strain.

Meanwhile, some users are posting pictures of a new progress bar that looks to be in Dark Mode.

Google recently added a new 'Highlight' tab feature to its contact management service on Android devices, according to a report by 9To5Google.

The new tool is located between 'Contacts' and 'Fix & manage' in the Material, You bar at the bottom.

Under the search field, users will be able to access a grid of 'Favorites' that has four icons in a row, where users get four of their favourite contacts.

Last month, a U.S. appeals court revived a lawsuit against Google and several other firms due to violating the privacy of children under age 13 by tracking their YouTube activity without parental consent.

The lawsuit claimed that Google track the children’s activity in order to send them targeted advertising.

In addition, the lawsuit alleged that Google’s data collection violated similar state laws and that YouTube content providers such as Hasbro Inc, Mattel Inc, the Cartoon Network, and DreamWorks Animation lured children to their channels, knowing that they would be tracked.
