Google Doodle celebrated "World Children's Day" on Saturday, with a little drawing that features sun, flours, stars, and hearts.

Children's Day is celebrated annually in honor of children with different dates in different countries.

In 1925, International Children's Day was first proclaimed in Geneva during the World Conference on Child Welfare.

World Children’s Day was first established in 1954 as Universal Children's Day and is celebrated on 20 November each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improve children's welfare.

The UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child. Hence, November 20th is an important date for all children around the world.

World Children's Day is commemorated with a specific theme every year to promote awareness among children about their rights.

This year, the main focus is to help and assist children to recover from interruptions and learning losses experienced through the COVID-19 pandemic in the last two years.
