On Wednesday, Google celebrated International Women's Day with a special doodle that represents different aspects of women's life and how they support each other.

International Women's Day is celebrated every year on March 8 as and it focuses on women's rights and women's empowerment.

In addition, it targets raising awareness of different women's issues such as violence and abuse against women, gender equality, and reproductive rights.

It also celebrates women's achievements in the economy, politics, community, education, and military field.

The Doodle was illustrated by artist Alyssa Winans, and how it reflects the support women can provide to each other.

The doodle page cited Winans, saying: "Our theme this year was “women supporting women”, so I was able to spend a lot of time reflecting on all the ways I’ve been supported by the other women in my life. I’m the youngest of three girls, so since birth I’ve always benefited from the wisdom and support of those who came before me! I’m grateful for that and all the ways I see women in my life standing up for each other and their values.

The post added: "In honor of women across the globe who are supporting each other across all aspects of life — Happy International Women’s Day!"
