Portuguese Jose Gomez, coach of the first football team at Zamalek Club, held a session with the players before the start of group training, which was held this evening, Tuesday, at the club’s stadium, in preparation for the upcoming Modern Future match in the Premier League competition.
At the beginning, the technical director greeted and congratulated the players and all members of the team for winning the African Confederation Cup after defeating Morocco's RS Berkane in the last match.
Gomez said in a special message to the players: “You made your utmost effort during the tournament, and the happy ending was success, winning the championship, and making the fans and all members of the club’s system happy.”
He added: "The team has finished the African Confederation Cup stage, and now we have other challenges and tournaments ahead of us, and we must focus in order to compete for them."
At the end of the session, the team players greeted the technical director and members of the supporting staff and exchanged congratulations on winning the Confederation title.
The Zamalek club's first football team is preparing to play the Modern Future match, scheduled for next Thursday at the Arab Contractors Stadium, as part of the matches of the twenty-fourth round of the Premier League competition.
