The German International University of Applied Sciences (GIUAS) started operating the 1st day of operation at its new administrative capital campus by receiving a group of German university deans and staff members from the partnering universities, including the oldest and most prestigious German schools in the field of applied sciences.
The universities include the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, Berlin School of Economics and Law, Munich University of Applied Sciences, Muenster University of Applied Sciences, Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Bremen University, Heilbronn University, Cologne Applied Sciences and German University in Cairo (GUC).
The delegation praised the speedy progress of the new campus infrastructure and facilities, which was the outcome of continuous follow-up to create a new reality in the administrative capital, allowing Egyptian, African, and other international students to benefit from the scientific studies that were a key factor for the industrial progress of Germany.
Meantime, the committee is scheduled to hold several meetings with Matthias Knaut, President of the University and the members of the teaching staff in addition to administrators to follow up on the work progress of the university and manage international student's transfer and enrollment.
Also, the agenda includes meetings between the delegation and students to answer their questions and inquiries.
In the same context, Knaut stressed earlier that the GIUAS aims to provide distinguished higher education that is compatible with the labor force through presenting various faculties, namely Engineering, Informatics & Computer Science, Business Administration, Tourism and Hotel Management and finally the Faculty of Arts & Design.
It is worth noting that the GUC, which is one of the founding universities, hosted the first batch of students in the first semester that started last September.
