On Thursday, November 14, Egypt displayed yet again another disappointing performance, drawing with Kenya 1-1 at Borg Al-Arab Stadium putting Hossam El-Badry’s future in doubt.

The disappointing result gave both Egypt and Kenya a point while giving away the group’s leadership to Comoros in the African Cup of Nations 2021 Qualifiers.

The Egyptian team were pooled in Group G alongside Kenya, Comoros, and Togo. Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is set to miss today's game due to his ankle injury.

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has announced on Tuesday, November 12 that Salah would miss the Pharaohs’ upcoming encounters against Kenya and Comoros at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nation (AFCON) qualifiers.

The Egyptian team’s medical staff confirmed that Salah would be ruled out Egypt’s squad for the upcoming clashes due to his ankle injury.

Salah underwent medical examinations, which asserted that the iconic Egyptian star would not be able to take part in the upcoming two matches, the medical staff said according to the EFA official Twitter page.
