Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi opened on Tuesday the integrated medical complex in Ismailia as part of the inauguration of State projects in the health field. Here is all you want to know about this project. 

The medical complex includes a group of integrated treatment centers in different specialties and emergency departments to provide medical services to the people of the province according to the latest international accreditation and quality standards.

It is considered a major center in Egypt's comprehensive health insurance system launched last year for the citizens of five governorates (Luxor, Ismailia, Aswan, Suez, and South Sinai).

Also, it includes 9 buildings, providing medical services via 23 different departments worth 500 million Egyptian pounds. 

What Are the Departments of the Complex? 

The integrated medical complex in Ismailia included the departments of Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Neurosurgery, Premature Children, Pediatric Surgery, Rheumatology, Cardiothoracic Diseases, Intensive Care, Heart Care, Pediatric Care, Reception And emergency, physiotherapy, dialysis, urology, ophthalmology, cardiac catheterization, ICSI - cardiac rheumatism, and finally Maternal-fetal medicine

The clinical capacity of the Ismailia Medical Complex is 286 inpatient beds and 64 intensive care beds.
