The first solar eclipse in 2022 will occur next Saturday, April 30, and it will be a partial one, media agencies reported on Sunday.
The partial solar eclipse event can be observed in several parts of Antarctica, the southern parts of Latin America, the Pacific Ocean region, and the Atlantic Ocean.
The moon will cover 64% of the Sun by the climax of the phenomenon, and the whole event will take three hours, and 54 minutes.
According to Space website, the sky event will start at 18:45 pm GMT, and it will reach its climax at 20:41 pm GMT, before its end at 22:37 pm GMT.
It is worthy to mention that April will see several significant sky events.
From April 24 and 30, there will be a conjunction between the moon and Saturn, Mars, Venus, and Jupiter. All the conjunctions will take place between 4 am and dawn.
Mercury will appear in the sky on April 29, and it will shine directly after the sunset.
Finally, on April 30, there will be a partial solar eclipse but it will not visible in the Middle East and North Africa.
On the same day, the crescent moon of Shawal will rise after the sunset.
