Germany's FM: West Can Lift Sanctions on Russia after Withdrawal from Ukraine

Germany's Foreign Minister (FM) Annalina Bierbock said that Western countries can lift sanctions on Russia if it withdraws its forces from Ukraine, according to urgent news broadcast by Al-Arabiya TV a short time ago.

Earlier, the British Ministry of Defense confirmed, in its latest intelligence assessment on the situation in Ukraine, that Russia's continued control of the Ukrainian city of Kherson and its transport lines would increase its ability to continue its progress towards the north and west and improve the security of Russian control over the Crimea Peninsula.

And the British ministry stated in a tweet via Twitter to the microblogging site reported by the British channel (Sky News) today, Sunday, that “since the control of the city of Kherson in southern Ukraine in early March, Russia has sought to legitimize its grip on the city and its surroundings by establishing pro-Russian administration.
