Germany Strongly Condemns Sinai Terrorist Attack

Germany has denounced the terrorist attack, which took place west of Sinai, killing 11 army men including an officer.

"I strongly condemn the terrorist attack, which took place near Suez Canal on Saturday," German ambassador to Egypt Frank Hartmann tweeted.

"My dearest, and sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and I wish a speedy recovery for the injured," Hartmann added.

It is worth mentioning that, the Egyptian Army foiled an attack launched by a group of takfiri terrorists against the East Canal Water Lifting Station checkpoint on Saturday, according to the Armed Forces spokesperson.

An officer and 10 soldiers were killed in the attack in addition to five others injured.
