The Ministry of International Cooperation announced that an agreement has been reached with the German side on a framework for future cooperation until 2024, which is the allocation of soft development funds, grants, and debt swaps worth 370.8 million euros, to finance 16 development projects.

This came after the ministry organized the Egyptian-German round of governmental negotiations for the year 2022, in light of the joint efforts to coordinate development cooperation, promote development, and finally agree on projects that will be funded within the framework of joint cooperation, through video technology.

The development projects to be funded include technical education, vocational training, support for innovation in the private sector, the labor market, administrative reform, governance, urban development, energy efficiency, renewable energy, sanitation, and agriculture.
