Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said that the political solution with the Palestinians is based on two separate Israeli-Palestinian entities while maintaining an Israeli security takeover in the entire region, according to the German news agency.
He added: “Although these two entities will be politically separate, economic cooperation is necessary between them, as reported today (Saturday) by the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation (Makan).
He continued to say that this solution guarantees the geographical contiguity of the Palestinian areas through the establishment of transportation infrastructure."
Gantz made it clear that it is difficult to reach peace in the broad sense, but he is trying to create a better reality that enables us to live in peace and quiet.
He stressed that he gives great importance to the talks he is holding with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas
He added that there is an argument between them over some issues because there are Palestinian steps that are uncomfortable for Israel, such as going to the International Court in the Hague and calling Israel an Apartheid state.
