Galala University Hosts 1st Training Forum to Back Education

Galala University (GU) hosted the first training forum to qualify its students for the needs and requirements of the labor market.

The university offers summer training opportunities for students, with the participation of more than 25 key local and international companies. It also provides many distinguished workshops in various fields presented by the best experts and specialists.

This step aligns with the national strategy to boost higher education and scientific research.

Mohamed El-Shennawy, Acting President of GU, said that the university is exerting efforts to secure all kinds of support to develop the spirit of active participation for its students and motivate them to continue training.

El-Shennawy added that the university’s vision is based on achieving the active role of the Ministry of Higher Education in supporting development in various fields.

The objectives of GU align with Egypt’s Vision 2030, as the university aims to achieve integration, interdisciplinary, communication, effective participation, sustainability, international reference, and leadership.

On her part, Dina Orabi, Director of the Equal Opportunities Unit at GU, emphasized the keenness of the university administration to implement the plan to integrate people of determination into the direct labor market based on the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Rana Zeidan, Secretary General of GU, announced the opening of job opportunities for part-time students with a number of hours system across different administrative sectors at the university, namely: marketing, media, public relations, human resources, student activities, administrative affairs, and technology Information.
