Thomas Portes, a representative from the Proud France party, filed a criminal lawsuit against 4,185 soldiers of French origin in the Israeli army, accused of complicity in crimes against humanity and war crimes in Gaza.
In a post on his account on the social media platform “X”, Portes pointed out the extent of the crimes committed by the Israeli army in Gaza and the West Bank.
The opposition French MP stated that he had filed a criminal complaint with the French Public Prosecution against soldiers of French origin who are fighting in Gaza and the West Bank.
Portes also published a picture of the criminal complaint petition that he sent to the Public Prosecution, noting that there are 4,185 soldiers of French origin serving in the ranks of the Israeli army in the region.
He pointed out that the French judiciary is obligated to investigate the responsibility of French fighters in the region for their actions that violate international and French law.
