French Agriculture Minister Julien Denormandie warned of a global food crisis, due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Addressing the European Union (EU) meeting on agriculture, hosted in Brussels, Denormandie said the war between Ukraine and Russia, two of the world's largest crop producers, could lead to a food crisis "on a global scale".
He added that EU ministers will discuss the food situation with their Ukrainian counterparts via a video call.
Moreover, the French Minister stressed that the Ukraine war directly affects the prices of wheat, fertilizers, and animal feed.
